About
Clay Dustin is a modern day cowboy delivering an old soulful country sound with his own personal touch. Mixing his El Paso, Texas roots of rodeos, cowboys and strong family values with his love for music from artists such as Johnny Cash, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Merle Haggard, Clay has creatively fused his style of living with his style of performing. Clay Dustin presents his brand of country music with words of family, love, God, humor and loss, voiced from a man that is still well connected to his roots and beliefs. Clay Dustin: Down to earth country music from a tried & true cowboy.
As easily inspired from older artists such as George Jones to newer artists like Garth Brooks, Clay combines his influences of country, pop, Christian contemporary, rock and gospel to showcase music well grounded in the past while carrying a sound with messages that are perfect for today. Clay walks the walk and talks the talk of a cowboy crooner by delivering inspiring shows with meaningful lyrics that entertain and connect with audiences that not only love country music, but also many other styles as well. Clay is a product of the fading cowboy lifestyle with his values and his convictions planted not only in the ground but also in every song he sings.
When Clay is not performing, he lives on a ranch in Arizona with his family. As versatile as his music and the songs he sings, Clay enjoys team roping, deep-sea fishing, golfing, scuba diving and spending time with his family. His varied interests in and outside of music gives him an edge as an artist that is that much more relatable. He sings to audience that he is a part of and shares the experiences that we all know. Clay Dustin is that neighbor next door, that friend that is always there and the man that can help, inspire and entertain the same people he learns from and listens to.... just like the true cowboys of the past.
